CQWW?
CQ é abreviatura usada no meio radiomadorístico para representar "Chamado Geral". WW é "World Wide", ao redor do mundo. E o CQWW nas versões fonia, telegrafia e radioteletipo, é certamente a maior competição (contest) radioamadorística no mundo, outrora patrocinado pela revista "CQ" dos USA.
CQ is an abbreviation used in amateur radio to represent "General Call". WW stands for "World Wide". CQWW in its phone, telegraphy, and radioteletype versions, is certainly the largest amateur radio contest in the world, formerly sponsored by the US magazine "CQ".

Números e Operação
Tudo o que vai neste artigo é "Raw Score" ou seja, sem a conferência final. Os números devem sofrer alguma redução após a checagem cruzada promovida pelos organizadores com todos os registros que recebem dos participantes.
Operar em todas as bandas autorizadas é desgastante e cansativo, especialmente 'Low Power' (até 100w). Em RTTY, a última vez que fiz isso foi em 2016, mas o melhor resultado é de 2013, usando 32 horas das 48 autorizadas. Agora, usei 42 horas e mesmo assim atingi resultado final inferior, conforme se vê das arte "instagram" nesta postagem.

A meta era chegar aos 1.200 contatos e isso foi alcançado (1.215), mas me custou muito, fisicamente falando. A pontuação, que é o que realmente interessa, ultrapassou minha meta para o ano e ficou próxima da marca de 2013 - 1.527.000.
Números de Zonas (Zn) e Países (Cty) surpreenderam em 2025, acima da meta pretendida e de todas participações anteriores. W/VE (ou SP), no entanto, ficaram abaixo da melhor marca (ano 2013).
Everything in this article is about "Raw Score", meaning without final check. The numbers will be reduced somewhat after the organizers cross-check all the records they receive from participants.
Operating on all authorized bands is exhausting and tiring, especially with Low Power (less than 100W). In RTTY, the last time I did this was in 2016, but my best result are from 2013, using 32 of the 48 authorized hours. Now, I used 42 hours and still achieved a lower final result, as can be seen from the "Instagram" image in this post.
The goal was 1,200 contacts, and I did that (1,215), but it was a real struggle, physically speaking. The score, which is what really matters, surpassed my goal for 2025 and was close to 2013 personal record - 1,527,000.
The numbers of Zones (Zn) and Countries (Cty) surprised in 2025, exceeding the intended target and all previous participations. W/VE (or SP), however, remained below the best mark (year 2013).
As condições de propagação surpreenderam positivamente em 2025, com ressalva em relação a banda de 15 metros (21 MHz). Em 80 metros (3,5 MHz) não houve contato algum, nem mesmo com 'schedule' (pré-agendado).
Propagation conditions were a positive surprise in 2025, with an exception in relation to the 15 meters band (21 MHz). In 80 meters (3.5 MHz) there was no contact whatsoever, not even with a 'schedule' (pre-scheduled).
O rotor Special Engine HR300 produzido em Curitiba apresentou novo problema, com falha no potenciômetro que mostra a direção das antenas, obrigando-me a acompanhar as movimentações pela janela.
The Special Engine HR300 rotor produced in Curitiba presented a new problem, with a failure in the potentiometer that shows the direction of the antennas, forcing me to follow the movements through the window.
Como sempre, a principal técnica operacional foi escolher uma frequência e permanecer ali, chamando geral e atendendo as estações. Em alguns momentos, no entanto, foi preciso mudar a estratégia e girar o dial atrás de multiplicadores (países, zonas e estados americanos e canadenses).
As always, the main operational technique was to choose a frequency and stay there, calling everyone and answering stations. At times, however, it was necessary to change strategy and turn the dial in search of multipliers (countries, zones, and states in the US and Canada).

Antes de 2025, a participação vinha sendo Single Band 20m LP. 2025 representou a volta para a modalidade "Todas as Bandas" (All Bands). A melhor marca anterior nessa condição era de 2013.
Prior to 2025, I was doing Single Band 20m Low Power. 2025 represented a return to the "All Bands" category. The previous best score, in this category, was in 2013.
