Já está tudo marcado, e no dia 13 de dezembro, às 18h00min, encerramos o expediente na Vara, entramos todos na Van alugada e tomamos rumo de Ribeirão Preto. Acho que é o quarto ano consecutivo que vamos jantar na "Cucina de Tullio Santini", com um cardápio preparado especialmente para nossa turma. Os vinhos, obviamente, também são fantásticos, encontrando-se na lista o Montes Cherub (Rosé Chile) e o Zinfandel Seghesio (Tinto USA). Por uma coincidência, o jornal "Gazeta de Ribeirão" publicou matéria recentemente, com a eleição popular de Tullio como Melhor Chef de Ribeirão Preto. WAEDC 2007 Story (Por/Eng)
Esta história vai contada em duas versões, e foi rapidamente elaborada a pedido dos organizadores alemães do Work All Europe DX Contest. Ela deve ser publicada no site, juntamente com a revista eletrônica de resultados da competição. A tradução foi feita com auxílio de ferramentas gratuitas disponíveis na internet. Meu nome é Vitor, tenho 41 anos de idade e sou radioamador desde 1981. Neste ano de 2007, tive três experiências muito diferentes nas três versões do WAE.
Participei do WAEDC CW na estação de PS2T (PY5EG Oms) em Araraquara, High Power, e ocupei a segunda posição na classificação sul-americana. Certamente, o dono da estação não ficou muito feliz, mas o fato de ter sido batido por um dos melhores telegrafistas do Brasil serviu como atenuante e demonstrou que uma boa estação sempre precisará de um bom operador mas, nem sempre um bom operador precisa da melhor estação para vencer... Usei o WriteLog em condições excepcionais, posto que o N1MM ainda não estava instalado.
No WAEDC SSB retornei a Araraquara (PS2T) para uma atividade Multi/Single encabeçada pelo PY5EG Oms. Com mais dois jovens radioamadores (Danilo 18 anos e Evandro 15 anos), enfrentamos as 48 horas de competição em condições de propagação simplesmente horríveis. Ainda assim, o resultado foi expressivo e a euforia típica da operação multi tomou conta de todos, a despeito de pequenos problemas enfrentados com o Acom-2000 e o FT-9000, substituído ao final por um IC-7000.
Finalmente, regressando as origens, participei do WAEDC RTTY aqui mesmo de minha casa, na categoria Low Power. Trata-se de uma estação singela, com apenas uma torre e provisoriamente com um único radio. A propagação novamente horrível obrigou-me a um score muito baixo, e foi difícil, nessas condições, encontrar quem se dispusesse a enviar e receber QTCs. Em minha casa, a KT-34-XA (6el 10-15-20m) está a 22m de altura, a 40-2CD (2el 40m) a 25m de altura e a DXA Sloper AlphaDelta (160-80m) a 20m na torre auto-sustentada. O rádio é um Yaesu FT-1000mp Field com todos os filtros, inclusive roofing, da INRAD. O controlador FSK é Microham MK2R+ e o software utilizado é N1MM com MMTTY. Acredito que o grande segredo do WAE RTTY seja o TX/RX de QTCs.

Pub Londrino (2002) - Eng/Por
Este blog não é atualizado com freqüência. Pudera, o final de ano se aproxima... Mas neste 
feriado, consegui limpar a estação de rádio, e aqui dentro de casa, o mezzanino. Algumas coisas vão para o lixo, como a comanda do pub londrino “The Gallery”, onde jantamos, Ana e eu, numa noite de outubro de 2002.
Então, apenas para que não passe em branco, fica aqui a fotografia da comanda, e alguns links com fotos e revisões sobre o estabelecimento. Não era o melhor, mas Ana e eu adoramos, e tomamos muita cerveja para enfrentar o frio.
O “The Gallery” fica pertinho da Tate Britain Art Gallery e não está distante da Abadia de Westminster, bom para quem é ligado no “Código da Vinci”.

This blog is not brought up to date frequently. Well, the year´s end approaches… But in this holiday, I cleaned the radio station, and here inside the house, our mezzanino. Some things go to the garbage, as it command of London Pub “The Gallery”, where have dinner, Ana and I, in a night of 2002, October.
Then, to avoid our memory lost, the photograph of that command, and some links with pictures and reviews about the establishment. It wasn´t optimum, but Ana and I adore it, and drink a lot of beer to face the cold weather.
The “The Gallery” is close to the Tate Britain Art Gallery and not far away of Westminster Abbey, good for who is on in the “Da Vinci Code”.
