A União Internacional de Radioamadores (IARU) tem sido a representação mundial dos radioamadores, protegendo e salvaguardando o espectro destinado aos praticantes desde 1925.

HF Championship?
O IARU HF Championship é a competição promovida pela IARU, com duração de 24 horas, incentivando os radioamadores de todo o mundo aos contatos recíprocos e destes com as estações da Ligas nacionais representativas.
It’s the HamRadio competition promoted by IARU, lasting 24 hours, encouraging radio amateurs from all over the world to contact each other and between them and the stations of the representative national leagues.

Operation
IARU 2022 foi em parceria com PY2SEX/PC3T como preparatório para o WRTC 2023, sendo que a operação foi compartilhada, com PY2NY em remoto desde Jaboticabal, acessando a estação de Alex nos Países Baixos pela internet. Naquela ocasião, PC3T em M/2 foi 1ª nos Países Baixos, 7ª na Europa e recordista para Zona 27.
IARU 2023 também foi parceria com PY2SEX/PC3T, mas desta vez compartilhando o mesmo espaço físico durante o WRTC* 2023 na Itália, com indicativo especial I41K.

IARU 2024 talvez tenha sido a melhor operação a partir de minha casa, em Low Power e Misto (CW & SSB), com 1.080.000 pontos e ao redor de 1300 contatos..
A meta definida antes do contest 2025 era de 800 contatos.
IARU 2022 was a partnership with PY2SEX/PC3T as preparation for WRTC 2023. The operation was shared, with PY2NY operating remotely from Jaboticabal, accessing Alex's station in the Netherlands via internet. At that time, PC3T in M/2 finished 1st in the Netherlands, 7th in Europe, and set a record for Zone 27.
IARU 2023 also shared with PY2SEX/PC3T, but this time into the same physical space during WRTC* 2023 in Italy, with the special callsign I41K.

IARU 2024 was perhaps the best operation from my home, in Low Power and Mixed (CW & SSB), with 1,080,000 points and around 1300 contacts.
The goal set before the 2025 contest was 800 contacts.
The real thing / Os fatos
As condições de propagação estiveram bem piores do que em 2024 e houve tempestade geomagnética de baixa intensidade de sábado para domingo.
Propagation conditions were much worse than 2024 and there was a low-intensity geomagnetic storm from Saturday to Sunday.
A banda de 80m surpreendeu com 17 contatos, muito mais do que em 2024 (05). A banda de 40m também respondeu positivamente.
The 80m (3,5) band surprised with 17 contacts, much more than 2024 (05). The 40m (7) band also responded positively.
